• The National Weather Service has issued a Small Craft Advisory for portions of Lake Erie, including areas from The Islands to Vermilion, Avon Point to Willowick, and Geneva-on-the-Lake to Ripley, NY. This advisory is in effect until 4 PM EDT on Monday, October 5,
• Winds are expected to range from 15 to 20 knots, with wave heights reaching 2 to 4 feet and occasionally up to 6 feet. Conditions are forecast to improve later in the day as winds diminish and wave heights subside. Water temperatures in the region are currently 66°F (18.9°C) off Toledo, 68°F (20°C) off Cleveland, and 66°F (18.9°C) off Erie.
